You need to know that you’re awesome. I’m talking superhero-level awesome.

You need to know that you’re awesome so that you can show other people that awesome and share it around.

You need to know that you’re awesome because awesome has value.

But really, you need to know that you’re awesome because it gives you permission to be awesome.

When you know that you’re awesome, you have a mechanism for beating down those fears and doubts that pop up. Doubts, meet the Awesome Stick.

When you’re awesome, there’s room for everyone else too, because you can all be awesome together.

Being awesome isn’t about what you’ve done or where you’ve been. It’s about who you are. All of you. And the potential for becoming even more awesome.

Take the time today (and every day!) to remind yourself that you’re awesome. Look at the world, at your day, through awesome eyes.

And remember that other people are awesome too. Take kindness and wholeheartedness and giving “the benefit of the doubt” to a whole new place. Assume universal awesomeness. And watch the world change.
